Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Suggested travel insurances companies include:

- Allianz Travel (https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com)
- TripInsure101 (Endorsed by AARP) (https://www.tripinsure101.com)
If we cancel the workshop due to Covid, we ask that you first seek reimbursement from your travel insurance. If you are denied reimbursed by your travel insurance, we will refund 100% of your workshop fees, or the balance of what your travel insurance doesn’t cover.
If we cancel but you have chosen to not purchase trip insurance, you will have two options:
- If you request a refund, we will refund 50% of your workshop fees paid.
- You may choose to apply the full amount of workshop fees paid toward a future trip to the same destination. (Alternative trips may be possible depending on the cancelled trip). We will hold your payment in escrow for 18 months from the date of the cancelled trip and apply it to a future trip. If you do not apply your balance to a trip within 18 months of the cancelled trip, you will forfeit your payment.
Covid Protocol Effective June 1, 2023
Note:
Trips booked after June 1, 2023, will follow the relaxed Covid Protocol outlined below.
While we are relaxing our pre-workshop mandatory testing policy, we still encourage participants to exercise caution when traveling so as to minimize the risk of getting sick and possibly infecting others.
We are no longer asking participants to be vaccinated or to test for Covid prior to a workshop.
We do, however, encourage good practice when traveling, especially when flying, such as wearing a mask on the plane and other crowded areas.
If a participant develops symptoms while on a workshop, we expect them to test for Covid and to notify the instructor(s) of a positive result. In the event of illness and a positive Covid result, we will assist in obtaining medical care for that person and isolating that person from the rest of the group to prevent the spread of the disease.
We will also respect the choice of any person to mask while on the trip.
Thank you for your consideration as we all learn to live and travel in this age!
